Undertaking the Construction Support Technician Apprenticeship means you go into one of two specialities — Technical (Engineering & Design) or Commercial (Quantity Surveying & Buying).
In the Technical (Engineering & Design) pathway you’ll engage in all aspects of housing design and innovation across diverse UK developments. You’ll apply your technical skills to prepare design programs, address site queries, and ensure drawings match approved plans.
In the Commercial (Quantity Surveying & Buying) pathway you’ll deliver high-quality homes in a cost-effective manner. You’ll use your creativity and organisational skills to conduct viability studies, manage materials and labour, prepare tenders, and assist Surveyors with daily tasks.

The programme combines on and off-the-job training, with a mixture of online and college learning, based around your specialist role.
