What we do

Barratt Redrow is not a land trader — we build great places. In an extremely competitive field, we identify land opportunities that fit our business needs, negotiate with sellers to get the best possible deal and figure out planning consents with local authorities. The research and assessments we do are essential to making sure that the homes we build will be of the high quality our customers expect.

Our Strategic Land Team work with landowners, taking on the role of project managers; from the very start of the process, all the way through to building on site. We also work with communities to make sure that we’re keeping everyone informed and creating developments that are sustainable and have a positive long-term impact ecologically and economically. We do this is by working with both internally and with external multidisciplinary consultants to manage budgets, identify and mitigate risks, secure planning consent and agree contributions with local authorities to deliver wider benefits to the area.

Who we look for

This is one of our fastest moving teams, so you’ll need to be happy taking initiative and working at speed. There’s a wide range of roles but everyone here thinks imaginatively, works collaboratively and has a strong business sense they can apply to their decision making. To join them, you must also be a self-starter who is happy building relationships with all kinds of people. Because that’s what keeps things moving and ultimately gets the job done.
