Our teams here are responsible for controlling costs and driving best value for all aspects of our projects, so we can build quality homes in the most efficient way possible. They’re involved from the beginning, controlling and reporting on cost, so we can estimate build costs of a development before we buy it. Then, throughout the development process, they help set the site budget and targets, monitor costs and negotiate contracts with suppliers so we can keep buying land and building quality homes in a cost-effective and sustainable way.
To succeed in this team, you need to be as good with numbers as you are with people. You also need a solid understanding of the operational side of the business and what the company needs to deliver against targets. Good attention to detail and effective time management are a must. As are strong negotiation skills. We pride ourselves on balancing quality and efficiency and we’re looking for people who share our pride in delivering that.
