Interested in pursuing a professional qualification in your chosen area during or following the programme? We aim to support you wherever possible. Depending on your discipline, this could be with:
We have Structured Training Agreements in place with both organisations. Funding is also available to help you achieve chartered status through the Assessment of Professional Competency (APC) process.
The ACA qualification takes between three and five years to complete, studying part time around your work commitments. It’s made up of a number of elements including 450 days of work experience and 15 exam modules.
The CIOB Professional Development Programme usually takes between one and three years to complete. To be eligible for this programme, you’ll need a qualifying university degree.
The CIAT-accredited programmes blend design, building technology, and construction management. To be eligible for this programme, you’ll need a qualifying university degree.
Many of our senior leaders, including a number of Managing Directors, Departmental Directors and Heads of Function are a part of the wider ASPIRE alumni community, having been on programme themselves across the past 16 years.
We understand how important our employees are to the success of our business, which is why we offer a generous benefits package to show our appreciation.
Discounts on home purchase, gym memberships and chosen brands.
We offer enhanced Family Friendly policies so you can spend more time with those you love.
When applications are open from autumn 2027, get your online application under way by clicking the available link, and don’t forget to attach your CV.
Next, you’ll be invited to undertake a series of short assessments online, where we’ll explore your skills and potential. Following this, if successful candidates will be invited to participate in the next stage.
The next step is for candidates to participate in a live virtual Interview with a member of the team to understand their suitability for the programme.
The final stage in the process is an assessment center consisting of an interview, presentation, and assessment exercise. These normally take place from March 2028 with a Managing Director at your local office.
Successful applicants will receive their offers from March onwards, and you’ll start on programme with us at the beginning of September 2028.
We accept any degree discipline. Whilst it helps to have a relevant degree, our previous cohorts have studied everything from property & construction-related degrees to psychology, geography and business studies.
You should only apply to the one role you feel you’re best suited to. However, during the ASPIRE programme, you’ll have lots of opportunities to build your understanding of the wider business.
During the programme you will have the opportunity to attend a variety of development modules, designed to give you the knowledge and skills to grow professionally. These will focus on your personal development, as well as providing insight into our wider business, with topics ranging from ‘personal growth’ through to speaking to our Group Support functions.
Our programme is structured with clear milestones built into your Personal Development Plan. When you’ve successfully completed your programme, you will be promoted and begin your first role in your team.
The next chapter of ASPIRE is taking shape.
If you’re ambitious, curious and ready to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you when applications open in Autumn 2027.
Until then, register your interest, explore careers across Barratt Redrow and keep an eye on this page for updates.
The future of ASPIRE is coming. We can’t wait to share it with you.
